Challenge Dates:

Feb 20, 2020, online challenge

April 2-5, 2020 at Rotman Commerce, University of Toronto

Registration cost:

$650 cdn per student or team coach

Includes: Field research and transportation, 3 meals: welcome breakfast, lunch and award dinner, and a welcome bag

Composition of Teams:

Each university or college will be represented by a maximum of seven (7) people:

  • Up to Five (5) students (four required)
  • One (1) coach + one (1) assistant (one required)

The team is defined as the required four "competing" students. Students who are on the team at the beginning of round 1 must participate throughout the entire challenge. Teams may make substitutions due to health or other extenuating concerns, however, these must be approved by the challenge organizers in advance and once made, cannot be changed for the remainder of the challenge.

Hotel Accommodation:

The InterContinental Toronto Yorkville is located in downtown Toronto and a few minutes walk to Rotman Commerce, University of Toronto.

Room rates are secured at a group rate starting at $309 per night for single occupancy and up to $349 per night for quad occupancy per night plus applicable taxes.

Previous school participants will receive priority registration; maximum 12 teams

Registration closes January 3rd, 2020 (11:45 pm PST)


Cancellation Policy:  A participant may withdraw from the challenge by notifying in writing to RRDTC@royalroads.ca on or before  January 31st, 2020 (11:45 pm PST) for a full refund less an administrative fee of $125. No refunds are granted after January 31st, 2020 (11:45 pm PST) Refunds could take up to four weeks to be processed.  The date of the withdrawal is the date the written notification is received. Registrations are not transferable.
